PARTICIPANTS

Un participant de l’ECC est une organisation ou un réseau du secteur financier qui s’engage à participer activement à Engagement climatique Canada. Les participants fondateurs de l’ECC sont les participants de l’ECC qui se sont inscrits à l’ECC au plus tard à la date de lancement officielle du 14 octobre 2021. Les sympathisants sont définis comme des organisations qui soutiennent les buts et objectifs de l’ECC et apportent des contributions volontaires en espèces et/ou en nature. Les supporters internationaux sont définis comme des organisations qui soutiennent les buts et objectifs de l’ECC et dont le siège social est à l'extérieur du Canada. Les contributeurs à la recherche apportent une capacité supplémentaire à l’ECC et aux engagements de l’ECC dans les domaines de l'évaluation des risques climatiques, de l'engagement climatique, de la mesure du carbone et d'autres expertises, avec un accent particulier sur les entreprises figurant sur la liste des priorités des entreprises de l’ECC. Les contributeurs en éducation offrent une capacité de sensibilisation et d'éducation supplémentaire à l’ECC et représentent des organisations possédant une expertise connue et reconnue en matière d'éducation et de mobilisation des connaissances dans les domaines du risque climatique et de la transition vers une économie à faibles émissions de carbone, entre autres.
* Le comité directeur de l’ECC approuvera chaque organisation dans chaque catégorie décrite ci-dessus avec une lettre d'entente officielle détaillant les termes et conditions pour chaque catégorie.
